About
Welcome to Class 12 of the Shoplifting & Theft Intervention Program – A Life Without Theft. Facilitated by Tera Chapman, this final session focuses on turning everything learned throughout the program into a realistic plan for long-term success, personal growth, and a future free from theft. In this class, participants will reflect on the lessons, challenges, and progress made throughout the program while developing a practical strategy for maintaining positive change moving forward. The session emphasizes that lasting change is not built on promises alone, but through consistent daily choices, accountability, and preparation for real-life situations. Participants will explore what a theft-free life looks like in practical terms, including improved peace of mind, stronger relationships, greater stability, and increased opportunities for employment, personal growth, and financial progress. The class also addresses common future challenges such as stress, emotional triggers, financial pressure, unhealthy environments, and old thinking patterns that may increase the risk of relapse. This session introduces practical tools for building long-term resilience, including creating a relapse prevention plan, strengthening self-control, developing support systems, and establishing accountability structures. Participants will also focus on setting realistic goals, rebuilding trust through consistent actions, and replacing old habits with healthier routines and positive challenges. In addition, the class emphasizes the importance of identity and mindset, encouraging participants to let go of past labels and begin building a future based on integrity, responsibility, and intentional decision-making. By the end of this session, participants will have a clearer vision of the life they want to build, along with a personalized plan to support continued growth, accountability, and long-term success beyond the program.
